Special Identity for Great Nature


ABOUT US
SIGN β Special Identity for Great Nature is an Erasmus+ KA220-SCH project that brings together six partner countries to promote environmental awareness, sustainability, and innovation in school education.
Through collaborative activities, international mobilities, and hands-on workshops, the project empowers students and educators to:
π± Develop eco-conscious habits
β»οΈ Explore recycling and upcycling practices
π Engage with renewable energy solutions
π€ Create educational materials using minimal or waste materials
SIGN aims to cultivate a new generation that doesn't just learn about nature, but learns with nature β through creativity, sustainability, and cross-cultural cooperation.

Partners
SWEDEN
Hosts the final LTTA focused on renewable energy. Also manages the sustainability impact and the projectβs closing phase..
TURKEY
Hosts the projectβs kick-off meeting and contributes to the development of school-based environmental awareness materials. Actively involved in communication and dissemination.
GERMANY
Organizes the first LTTA focused on nature and the environment. Provides learning experiences through forest education, nature observation, and local ecological practices.
NETHERLANDS
Coordinates the projectβs hands-on environmental workshops and podcast production. Also hosts the mobility focused on recycling, robotics, and sustainability.




PORTUGAL
Leads the LTTA themed around seas, volcanoes, and wildfire management. Creatively raises awareness of ecological disasters among children.
CROATIA
Leads project management monitoring and coordinates evaluation processes. Hosts the interim TPM (Transnational Project Meeting).
AGENDA
The SIGN project spans two academic years and includes six international mobilities hosted by partner countries. Below is the chronological sequence of activities:
January 2025 β Turkey πΉπ·
The project begins with a kick-off meeting focused on environmental awareness and sustainability in schools. Workshops and presentations will be held with participating educators and students.April 2025 β Germany π©πͺ
The first LTTA (Learning, Teaching, Training Activity) will take place in Germany. Activities will center on forest-based education, nature observation, and local ecological practices.May 2025 β Netherlands π³π±
Hosted by the Dutch partner, this mobility will focus on recycling, upcycling, and creative robotics workshops using waste and minimal materials. Emphasis will be placed on practical environmental education.October 2025 β Croatia ππ·
A mobility centered around seas, volcanic areas, and wildfire education. Students and teachers will explore environmental risks and disaster preparedness through creative, hands-on sessions.February 2026 β Portugal π΅πΉ
A TPM (Transnational Project Meeting) will be held to monitor project progress, review reports, and coordinate dissemination strategies among partners.May 2026 β Sweden πΈπͺ
The final LTTA will focus on renewable energy, sustainability practices, and the long-term impact of the project. It will also mark the closing phase of the project.
